Basil & Lemon Baked Salmon in Foil

Oven: 20 minutes
Ingredients
-1 ½ lbs of salmon (cut into 6 fillets)
-6 Tbsp of melted butter
-1 garlic clove, crushed
-1 handful of finely chopped basil
-2 Tbsp of lemon juice
-1 tsp of salt
-½ tsp of pepper
-6 slices of lemon
Preperation
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
On a baking sheet, place a large sheet of aluminum foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Lay the fillets on the aluminum sheet, evenly spaced.
Combine the butter, garlic, basil, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a medium-sized bowl. Mix the whole with a spoon until combined.
Pour half of the lemon-basil sauce over the fillets, reserve the remaining sauced for later. Top each fillet with a slice of lemon.
Close the aluminum foil over the fillets to make a packet. Bake the salmon for 15 minutes without undoing the packet.
Open the foil packet and pour the remaining lemon-basil sauce over the fillets, then return to the oven and broil on High for 5 to 7 minutes.
Watch the salmon closely while it broils, and once it starts to brown slightly, remove from the oven and serve immediately.
