INGREDIENTS
FOR THE FONDUE:
–1 1/2 Tbsp. Butter
–1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
–1/2 tsp. Salt
–1 cup milk
–1 cup shredded Mild Cheddar cheese
–1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

FOR THE DIPPERS:
– cooked ham (cubed)
– bread (tear into bite-sized pieces)
–apples
– green beans (steamed)
– broccoli (raw or cooked)
– potatoes (precook the diced potatoes in a saucepan with a little bit of butter or olive oil and seasoned salt)
– green beans (steamed)
– any other vegetable of choice (cut into bite-size)

INSTRUCTIONS
Melt the butter over low heat and then add the cornstarch, stirring until well combined. Use a fondue pot or a saucepan on the stove, either method works great! If you have an electric fondue pot, turn the temperature slightly above warm as the temperature gets very hot when using this style pot.

Mix the salt in well and then add the milk. Stir continually over medium-low heat until boiling. Continue to stir and boil the mixture for one minute.

Turn the heat down slightly and then add the cheese. Mix just until the cheese is melted and then serve with the dippers of choice!

Note: Choose any other desired vegetable or cooked meats as dippers.
